Jev vs OpenJev
OpenJev is a self-hosted decision model, including builds that read images. JEV Gateway is a hosted text API.
What OpenJev is
OpenJev is an open, self-hosted decision model. The DiffusionGemma build can answer questions about images as well as text. You bring the GPU and you operate the server. This is a different project from SemIf, which used the name OpenJev earlier.
What stays on you
There is no vendor account and no credit pack. You choose the hardware, the version and what you log. That is the point of a self-hosted model, and it is also the work: capacity, upgrades, and a fallback when the GPU is busy.
What we are for
We host the text API. The request is still a state plus choice, score and yes/no questions, and the response still carries probabilities. We are not OpenJev and we do not ship its weights.
